1. Morocco Is on the Verge of Becoming an Associate Country Within the Public Governance Committee: ""Morocco wants to strengthen its status within the OECD Public Governance Committee," affirmed the Deputy Minister in charge of the Reform of Administration and Public Service, Mohamed Ben Abdelkader, in Paris yesterday. "Morocco, through the delegated ministry in charge of the Reform of Administration and Public Service, is a very active observer member within this committee and participates regularly in its meetings," he said in a statement after his talks with the OECD Secretary General, Angel Gurria, indicating that the Kingdom wants to improve its status to become an associate country within the said committee."
2. A New Capital Increase in the Pipe for Africa50: "Africa50 will hold its second Annual General Meeting in Casablanca in September. On the agenda, in particular, a further increase in capital of this fund dedicated to accelerating the development of infrastructure in Africa. Africa50 has failed to reach the billion-dollar mark, an objective that was to be achieved last year on the occasion of the first Annual General Meeting held in Casablanca on July 21, 2016. The fund managers, however, remain confident to move with higher pace."

4. 570 Million Dirhams Allocated to Drinking Water Supply by 2019: "Investments of around 570 million Dirhams have been allocated to the programs of the drinking water supply and liquid sanitation at the level of the province of Taza during the period 2017-2019. These investments are divided between the supply of drinking water to the centers and douars (Bedouin villages) of the province of Taza for an amount of 480 million Dirhams and liquid sanitation projects with a total cost of 90 million Dirhams at the level of the Tahla and Oued Amlil centers, according to the Central-North Regional Directorate of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE)-Branche Eau."

With 20,068,556 of Internet users out of a population estimated at 34,817,065, Morocco ranks 33rd among the most connected countries in the world with a penetration rate of 57.6%. This is what emerges from the latest study published by Internet Live Stats concerning the year 2016 and 201 countries. To establish this ranking, Internet Live Stats was based on data from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations Statistics Division, the Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), and the World Bank."
