Advertising market: Online advertising exceeds television: "Fifty-nine percent of advertising spending is currently allocated to online video advertising, a steady increase in share since 2016, according to the study Digital Content NewFronts, published by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Continuing the trend, more than 50% of marketing professionals plan to increase their video and mobile spending over the next 12 months. These advertisers will increase their spending to 53% over last year, averaging over $10 million per year."

Tribal DDB Casablanca "African Digital Agency of the Year": "The international digital marketing agency Tribal DDB won the "African Digital Agency of the Year" award at the 6th edition of the African Cristal held in Marrakech from May 2 to 4. Nestlé acquires license to sell Starbucks products: "The Swiss agri-food group Nestlé has just announced that it will pay some 7.15 billion dollars to obtain marketing rights for Starbucks consumer and out-of-home food products. Nestlé says it hopes that the agreement with Starbucks will contribute positively to its earnings per share and growth targets from 2019, stating that the agreement does not change its share buy-back program. In addition, approximately 500 Starbucks employees will join Nestlé to help develop the business."
