1. World Cup 2018: Coca-Cola launches a new global campaign: "After two years of collaboration, Coca-Cola and Mercado McCann will pay tribute to the Football World Cup that will take place in Russia between June 14 and July 15, 2018, presenting one of the most significant advertising campaigns of the famous American brand in 200 different countries. Named "Being Ready", this new advertising campaign will be accompanied by a special edition of Coca-Cola cans with numbers between 0 and 9, intended to make predictions for the various matches between friends on social networks."

 

2. Study: 78% of marketing professionals plan to invest in advertising on connected TVs: "Seventy-eight percent of marketing professionals plan to invest in connected TV advertising over the next 12 months, according to the results of a survey commissioned by SteelHouse and conducted by Advertiser Perceptions. Regarding the use of video ads by marketers, 49% frequently use video, 38% occasionally, and 11% use it in all campaigns. Indeed, marketers spend about 30% of their advertising budget on online video on all channels, 28% on social networks, 26% on feeds, 20% on traditional local or national television, and 13% on unit ads."

 

3. "Tatir": A marketing influence platform for brands and influencers: "A young Moroccan start-up has just announced the launch of "Tatir Agency", the first social platform for linking influencers and brands. Indeed, this new platform is open to all brands, and to those who represent them, including public relations, media, advertising or creative agencies. It connects influencers and brands online and without intermediaries."

 

4. Study: Internet surpasses television in Morocco: "The Interprofessional Centre for Media Audiometry (Ciaumed) has just released the results of a study on the consumption of television on the Internet in the Kingdom.  Indeed, according to this research, 47.6% of houses have Internet access. Among them, 34.6% watch TV programs over the Internet. Research shows that 54.4% out of this population watch TV shows on the Internet once or twice a week."
