1. Two irrigation projects benefit from a grant of 51.5 million Euro from the Green Climate Fund and loans from the EBRD and the AFD: ""Two irrigation projects benefited from a global grant of 51.5 million Euro from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) of 120 million Euro and from the French Development Agency (FDA) of 41 million Euro," announced on Friday the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fishing, Rural Development and Water and Forests."
2. The World Bank calls for tripling the investments by 2030: "The progress is currently too slow to achieve, by 2030, the objectives set by the international community in terms of access to electricity, renewable energy and energy efficiency. This is the conclusion of the last global monitoring report (Global Tracking Framework, GTF), released today by the World Bank and the International Energy Agency (IEA) within the framework of the platform for disseminating knowledge on the initiative "sustainable energy for all. The monitoring report shows that the increase in the access to electricity is slowing down and that, if this trend is not reversed, the global electrification rate will be only a 92% by 2030, far from the universal access. Only the energy control has progressed. Over the period covered by the report (2012-2014), the energy savings met the cumulative needs of two countries, such as Brazil and Pakistan."

Morocco joins the Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Council for the Electricity: "Morocco became, yesterday, a member of the executive committee of the Arab Council of Ministers (ACM) in charge of the electricity for the next 2 years. The Council, meeting in the framework of its 12th session at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo, has approved the composition of its new Executive Office, which is presided by Egypt and includes among its members, besides Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Mauritania, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Libya."
