2. BMCE Bank Strengthens Its Partnership with the Chinese CRCCI: "The construction contract of Bouregreg Tower, a BMCE Bank project, was signed in Casablanca on Thursday, July 20. According to its initiators, it will be the tallest tower in Africa. The construction will last three years. The signing ceremony of the construction contract brought together BMCE Bank of Africa Group on the one hand, the Chinese group China Railways Construction Corporation International -CRCCI- and the Moroccan TGCC Group on the other hand, announces a statement of BMCE Group."

Boussaid declared that the start-up of participatory banks has come to crown a long process aimed at the emergence of a properly Moroccan model in the matter. The latter will contribute to the diversification of the means of financing the economy, stated the minister, ensuring that efforts are continuing to finalize takaful insurance system and issue sukuks as soon as possible."
