1. Concrete prefabrication: 4 projects for an investment of 600 million Dirhams: ""Four prefabricators, members of the Moroccan Association of Concrete Industries (AMIB), will be part of the new "Building Materials" ecosystem dedicated to the Souss-Massa region. The investment planned for this purpose is close to 600 million Dirhams," reveals Aujourd'hui Le Maroc in its edition of June 13. Two large projects exceed investment amounts of 100 million Dirhams, while two others provide an envelope of 50 million Dirhams each."


2. Industrial Acceleration Plan: 278,015 profiles to be trained by 2020: "It is one of the most efficient sectors of the Moroccan economy. Capable of creating and sustaining hundreds of thousands of jobs, the industry wants to be a true engine of growth and strengthens its leadership in Africa. Launched in 2014, the Industrial Acceleration Plan (PAI) reaps what it sowed. While Morocco requires 1.3 million industrial jobs over 10 years, 120,000 jobs have already been created, and 307,000 committed, i.e. 427,000 in total," asserts Moulay Hafid Elalamy, the Minister of Industry, in Rabat last May.


3. The French format "Les BigBoss" keeps its promises in Marrakech: "Hundreds of French bosses and decision-makers have landed in Marrakech on Friday, as part of the 8th opus of the "BigBoss Summer Edition", to promote a sustainable business through digital transformation. This event, which takes place from June 9 to 11, brings together 300 decision makers of the French digital "BigBoss", 100 suppliers and sponsors, and more than 40 Moroccan decision-makers to boost their affaires and business and take advantage of the best digital services available in the market."


4. The UIC introduces 5 new courses in its pedagogical program: "Continuing its commitment for higher quality studies in Morocco, the International University of Casablanca (UIC), a private university recognized by the State, has announced the strengthening of its Executive pole with the creation of 6 new courses, which will be effective starting from November 2017. Thereby, the UIC will provide two new Executive MBAs covering Bank & Financial Services, Management of Technology, and Innovation. Three new Executive Masters will be devoted to Internal Audit, Governance, and Risk Management: DATA Science, Psychology of Work, and Professional Coaching."


5. Morocco decides to send planes loaded with food products to the State of Qatar: "On instruction of H.M. the King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the Kingdom of Morocco has decided to send planes loaded with food products to the State of Qatar," indicates on Monday a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which reads as follows: "On instruction of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the Kingdom of Morocco has decided to send planes loaded with food products to the State of Qatar."
