Crédit Agricole du Maroc Group launches its participatory bank: "Crédit Agricole du Maroc, a leading bank in the support of professionals in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, has just announced the launch of the participatory bank Al Akhdar Bank in collaboration with IDC, a multilateral financial institution. The latter will be unveiled in Casablanca, Monday, October 16. Indeed, Al Akhdar Bank will develop the lines of business of Crédit Agricole du Maroc Group. Thus, Crédit Agricole will hold 51pc and ICD 49pc of the capital of the participatory bank, whose initial capital is expected to be 200 million dirhams, with a subsequent increase to 400 million dirhams."

 

BMCE Bank to be set up in Dubai: "BMCE Bank of Africa group has just obtained authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to open a representative office, reports the Moroccan newspaper Challenge. The implementation in Dubai International Financial Center should take place before the end of the current year, almost three years after the opening by the FinanceCom branch of a first subsidiary in Abu Dhabi, the other essential financial center of the wealthy oil state. According to the same source, the future branch of BMCE Bank of Africa will seek, on the one hand, to play the role of a platform to accompany the Emirati groups in their deployment in Morocco and more globally in Africa and, on the other hand, to advise its own Moroccan corporations in their projects in the Gulf region."

 

Arryadia channel will soon pass to HD: "After Al Oula, it is the sports channel Arryadia that will go to high definition starting from the 2017/2018 sports season. Arryadia announced on the social networks that it will soon pass to the HD. Football matches will be broadcast with better quality for the enjoyment of football fans. UPS launches a dedicated line to Morocco: "The logistics giant UPS has just announced the implementation of a flight entirely dedicated to its volumes from the European hub in Cologne to the final destination Casablanca. Indeed, this new service will allow UPS Maroc to benefit from an air link that reinforces the capacities of the company. "The implementation of an airline dedicated entirely to UPS will be very beneficial for our customers. They will be better and more quickly connected to the rest of the world, which represents a real added value for their import and export activities," said Aziz Bensouda, Managing Director of UPS Maroc."
