Orange Maroc Unveils an M2M Solution: "The Moroccan telecommunications company, Orange Maroc, has just announced the launch of a new solution for companies. Called "Smart M2M", this new platform offers companies a tool to manage and control their fleet of M2M SIM cards in just a few clicks anywhere, at any time, and, most importantly, independently. Objective: providing enriched connectivity while helping customers in their digital transformation. "Smart M2M will allow companies to keep control over their entire fleet of M2M SIM cards in a few clicks in complete autonomy," said Orange Marketing Manager."


ASM Launches Steel Impulse Platform: "The Association of Steelworkers in Morocco (ASM) has just announced the launch of a new innovative project to accompany the reflection on the problems of the sector and contribute to the growth of the Moroccan industry. Called "Steel Impulse", this platform of reflection and exchange is destined to become a vehicle of sharing, consultation, and awareness to all stakeholders in the sector. This new platform will also benchmark the economic models of the sector that best meet the Moroccan context, consult on the needs and expectations of the country vis-à-vis the sector, and, above all, create lasting synergies between the various stakeholders in the sector."


Medasys Launches the First Cloud Computing Platform in French-Speaking Africa: "Maroc Datacenter, the first cloud computing platform in Morocco and French-speaking Africa, was inaugurated in Temara industrial zone on Tuesday September 19.
This project, initiated and financed in collaboration with the national agency for the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as part of IMTIAZ program, is the first realization of the Medasys Group as part of its development strategy for the creation of Datacenters in Morocco and Africa. Indeed, the platform is endowed with all guarantees of quality and safety to ensure optimal operating conditions for its customers. It symbolizes the crowning of the 20 years of expertise and know-how of the Moroccan engineers of Medasys group that worked for Datacenter, designed in accordance with international safety and availability standards, and meeting the needs of Moroccan public and private companies."


Total Is Partnering with EREN Renewable Energy to Accelerate Its Development in Renewable Energies: "Total announces the signing of an agreement with EREN Renewable Energy (EREN RE) which will enable it to accelerate its growth in renewable electricity production. By subscribing €237.5 million to a capital increase, it will take an indirect 23% interest in EREN RE. The agreement between Total and EREN RE also provides that Total may take control of the company after a period of 5 years."


Uber Arrives in Rabat: "Two years after launching its platform in Casablanca, the VTC's service Uber strengthens its presence in Morocco and announces its installation in Rabat. As in Casablanca, the application will allow Rabat people to use UberX and Uber Select services with the possibility of paying by credit card or cash. Indeed, Uber's choice to extend access to its platform in Rabat is motivated by the desire to collaborate to enrich the supply of urban transport to serve the general public and tourists. This regional extension gradually capitalizes on the feedback of its service in Casablanca, operational since 2015, and already references more than 22,000 drivers of which 500 assets per month."
