According to Patrick Umba, SCPT Needs $4 Million to Increase the Capacity of Fiber Optics: "Patrick Umba, the Director General of the Congolese Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SCPT), the manager of public fiber optics has declared that the company needs US$4 million to increase the capacity of this Infrastructure. The World Bank Grants $620 Million to Lagos State to Boost Schools Infrastructure: "The World Bank has decided to provide $620 million in funding to the Government of Lagos State, Nigeria, to boost its schools infrastructure. On Tuesday, the Scottish oil tanker Cairn Energy announced that it had secured an important black gold deposit in the FAN South-1 well. The work began on May 26 and was completed by the Stena Drillmax drilling rig. "They took place on budget and were completed by the project partners," stresses a note from the firm, listed in London. "FAN Sud is our tenth success in Senegal for the last three years and our second well in the deep part of the basin, next to the FAN-1 discovery.
