Toyota is taking the spotlight in the world of cinema with its latest appearance in the highly anticipated Superman film, produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures. Premiering in theatres on July 11, the action-packed movie showcases a range of Toyota vehicles, with the all-electric 2026 Toyota bZ stealing the show as Lois Lane’s official ride.
In a fresh blend of pop culture and innovation, Toyota’s presence in the film is more than simple product placement. The bZ becomes part of the story, with a memorable scene where Lois Lane drives the sleek electric vehicle to the Hall of Justice, symbolising strength, modernity, and forward-thinking design—attributes that mirror the character’s bold personality.
Toyota’s collaboration with Warner Bros. also extends off-screen. A specially wrapped 2026 Toyota bZ was featured on the red carpet at the movie’s world premiere on July 7 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, bringing the cinematic partnership directly to fans.
To amplify the campaign, Saatchi & Saatchi produced a dedicated spot featuring the bZ in action, highlighting its starring role alongside DC’s iconic characters.

The 2026 Toyota bZ battery electric vehicle (BEV) debuts with major technological upgrades, offering an extended range of up to 314 miles on a single charge, thanks to an improved lithium-ion battery. With the inclusion of the North American Charging System (NACS), drivers gain access to thousands of fast-charging stations across the United States. Customers can also choose from XLE or Limited trims, front- or all-wheel drive options, vibrant paint finishes, and a spacious, modern interior.
