Sports streaming giant DAZN has unveiled its first ever global campaign, ‘Undisputed’, bringing together the raw energy of boxing and the drama of football in a cinematic spectacle. Crafted by Homeground and directed by Pulse Films’ Ludovic Gontrand, the campaign stars football icons Edinson Cavani, Harry Kane, Luís Suárez and Erling Haaland, who will all battle it out with their teams in the USA this July.
Tapping into DAZN’s well-known boxing heritage, ‘Undisputed’ uses the imagery and sounds of the fight game to highlight the parallels between the two sports: epic matchups, fierce rivalries, and the quest to become champions. From corner men wrapping fists to custom boxing robes in club colours, the film blurs the lines between the pitch and the ring, building up to intense face-offs before the whistle blows.
Set to the classic hip hop track ‘Don’t Sweat The Technique’ by Eric B. & Rakim, the campaign is infused with an old-school vibe that echoes the timeless spirit of competition. DAZN presenter Diletta Leotta and the legendary boxing ring announcer Michael Buffer help set the stage, underscoring the stakes and the energy of the upcoming tournament.
The campaign, planned and booked by DENTSU, spans out-of-home, streaming, digital, social and experiential channels in nine languages and 12 core markets, with a presence in every DAZN territory worldwide. ‘Undisputed’ promises to be a celebration of sport at its most raw and compelling, capturing the thrill of the games and the drama of the battles that define them.
