Porsche Netherlands Launches “Fresh From The Road”

Porsche Netherlands, in collaboration with Dentsu Creative Amsterdam, is inviting its drivers on a unique journey that blends performance on the road with refined pleasures in the kitchen. Their latest project, Vers van de Weg (translated as Fresh from the Road), is an exclusive seasonal cookbook designed specifically for Porsche owners — transforming every drive into a gastronomic adventure.

More than a traditional recipe book, Fresh from the Road offers curated routes through the Dutch countryside, where drivers are encouraged to gather fresh, local ingredients along the way. Once home, they can turn their harvest into exquisite seasonal dishes — elevating both the road trip and the home-cooked meal into unforgettable experiences.

The book was created in partnership with eight prominent Dutch chefs, many of them Michelin-starred, each of whom contributed two ingredients from their respective regions. From tender white asparagus in spring to vibrant strawberries in summer, and from robust kale to earthy palm cabbage in the colder months, the recipes celebrate the richness of Dutch produce and the rhythm of the seasons.

“This campaign is about more than driving — it’s about discovery,” said Anne Pellekoorn, Marketing and Communication Manager at Porsche Netherlands. “Porsche drivers are naturally adventurous. With this cookbook, we’re encouraging them to explore beautiful regional routes, collect fresh ingredients from the source, and enjoy a unique blend of driving pleasure and culinary creativity.”

The concept was developed by Dentsu Creative Amsterdam, which saw an opportunity to unite two great passions of Porsche’s audience: exceptional driving and exceptional food. “We often look abroad when we think of luxury ingredients,” noted Luuk Simonse, Senior Creative at Dentsu Creative Amsterdam. “But the Netherlands has so much to offer — roadside farms, regional specialties, and rich culinary traditions. This project celebrates those local treasures in a way that’s interactive and deeply personal.”

The content of the book was shaped by culinary writers Famke and Floor van Praag, known for their Shortlist Amsterdam cookbook series. They collaborated closely with chefs to craft recipes, descriptions, and stories behind each ingredient. The book also includes detailed regional maps, driving tips, and lush photography — combining the visual elegance of Porsche with the rustic charm of the Dutch countryside.

Packed with rich visuals, seasonal inspiration, and Porsche design flair, Fresh from the Road is not just a cookbook — it’s a collectible, a travel guide, and a new way of experiencing what it means to take the scenic route.
