1. Asmex seals a partnership with CFCIM: "The Moroccan Association of Exporters (ASMEX) and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morocco (CFCIM) have signed a partnership agreement on June 6, 2017, to mobilize and federate export initiatives by identifying the potentialities of their respective members. Signed by the Presidents of the two organizations, the objective of this convention is to establish a strategic partnership to take advantage of the dynamics of African markets and propose tools to accompany member exporters."


2. 50 billion Dirhams to combat social and territorial disparities: "To great ills, great remedies. To get the rural world out of the vicious circle of poverty and marginalization, the government of Saad Eddin El Othmani intends to put the package. No less than 50 billion Dirhams will be mobilized to support the National Program 2016-2022 to combat social and territorial disparities in the rural world. This announcement was made by Saad Eddine El Othmani, who spoke to the counselors last Wednesday during the monthly session of oral questions devoted to the general policy of the government."


3. Nearly 2 billion Dirhams of arrears on butane gas and sugar: "By the end of May 2017, the arrears of the Compensation Fund amount to 1.82 billion Dirhams. The receivables due to butane gas operators totaled 1.51 billion. Those to companies operating in the sugar sector exceeded 310 million Dirhams. These arrears "concern the months of March and April 2017", underlines the Compensation Fund in its last activity report that highlights the main financial indicators of the grant, as well as their evolution."


4. Adoption in committee of the draft law related to the OMA regime for self-employed: "The Social Sectors Committee of the House of Representatives, meeting last Wednesday, has given its green light for the Bill 98-15 related to the basic scheme of Compulsory Health Insurance (AMO) for the categories of professionals, independent workers, and self-employed persons engaged in a liberal activity. In the legislative circuit for more than 18 months, the draft in question will soon be examined during a plenary session in the First Chamber."


5. The contest prize "Africa Design Award 2017" will be delivered in Rabat on June 28: "Africa Design Award, a unique initiative and pan-African platform for the development of African design and innovation, founded in 2014 by the designer Hicham Lahlou, is an international design competition which, according to the organizers, aims at rewarding the best talents of the African continent or working for the development of the continent. The 2017 competition, organized with the participation of the World Design Organization, is available online at www.africadesignaward.org, and it is open to all designers of the African continent, SMEs and companies operating directly or indirectly in design and innovation, and which are intended to bring added value to the African continent."
