3. Four billion Dirhams for development projects in the Marrakech region: "The official kick-off of the partnership program between the Marrakech-Safi region and the Qatari charitable foundation Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim that aims at carrying out several development projects was given in Marrakech on Monday. These projects, which were kicked off in the presence of the President of the Council of the Qatar Foundation, Sheikh Nawaf Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al-Thani; the president of the Marrakech-Safi region, Ahmed Akhchichin; and the wali of the region, Abdelfettah Labjioui; concerning the construction and equipping of a public hospital in Sidi Youssef Ben Ali and another in Safi."
4. The Government is implementing several measures to ensure good harvesting and marketing conditions of cereals: "The reference price of wheat made mill was set at 280 DH/quintal (q) for a standard quality, according to a joint decision to implement measures by the Government in the context of the harvest and marketing of cereals for the current crop year. Signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Sustainable Development, and Water and Forests, Aziz Akhannouch, and the Minister of the Economy and Finance, Mohamed Boussaïd, this joint decision will allow farmers to make the most of the expected wheat crop at the end of the 2016-2017 crop year and which is set to be a record according to estimates (102 million quintals)."
5. Public Service: The ministry announces the workings in the first 100 days: "During his first media release, the new minister in charge of administrative and public service reform, Mohammed Ben Abdelkader, has sought to dispel any misunderstanding concerning the establishment of fixed-term contracts (CDD) in the public service. Obviously irritated by the rumors relayed by the press lending him the intention to question the decree instituting recruitment by contract in the Administration, the new government official has been very clear. He has swept away this information with a backhand while underlining his willingness to capitalize on the achievements and commitments made by his predecessor."
