IMF Finalizes Its Line of Precaution and Liquidity in Favor of Morocco: "Morocco continues to fulfill the requirements to benefit from an agreement under the Precautionary and Liquidity Line (LPL), indicates the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Board of Directors. Bretton Woods institution reaffirmed it in Washington Tuesday, August 1, after completing the second review of the agreement in favor of Morocco under LPL."
2. 150 Negative Certificates Issued in Berkane During the First Half-Year: "The Moroccan Commercial Property Office (OMPIC) and the Oujda Investment Center (CRI-Oujda) issued in the province of Berkane in the first half of 2017 some 150 negative certificates for the creation of enterprises. According to a report by the Trade and Industry Delegation, which also covers Oujda, Taourirt, Jérada, and Figuig, the service sector remains the most targeted one by project holders with 75 certificates, followed by trade (36), construction and public works (35 certificates,) and industry (4 certificates). Regarding the legal status, the negative certificates are distributed among the single shareholder limited liability companies (77 certificates), the Limited Liability Companies (52 certificates), and the commercial signs (21 certificates)."
3. The Airport of Rabat-Salé Obtains the "Aerodrome Certificate" of ICAO: "On Friday, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) handed over the "Aerodrome Certificate" of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to the directorate of the Rabat-Salé airport during a ceremony chaired by the Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Handicraft, and Social Economy, Mohamed Sajid. This certificate, which attests to the conformity of airport management processes relating to infrastructure safety with the requirements, techniques, and regulatory standards of ICAO, was issued following a thorough audit conducted by DGAC at the Rabat-Salé airport, in coordination with the National Airport Authority and its partners, covering all airport infrastructure, equipment, and services required for the movement of aircraft, including aircraft rescue and firefighting services (SLIA), as well as the conditions for approval of runways."
4. Compensation: The Charges Are Close to 7 Billion Dirhams: "More than half of the overall budgetary allocation aimed at supporting the consumption price of butane and sugar was released in the first seven months of the year. If the Finance Bill has set an amount of 14.65 billion Dirhams for 2017, the Compensation Fund was allocated, at the end of July, subsidies of nearly 9 billion Dirhams (8.95 MMDH) representing 61% of the overall compensation budget. referring to the latest statistics of the Compensation Fund, a large part of the amount allocated was used for butane gas subsidies."

PSA Completes the Acquisition of Opel: "The French carmaker PSA announced on Tuesday, August 1, that it has completed the acquisition of the European subsidiaries of the American General Motors (GM), Opel and Vauxhall (which develops Opel models in the United Kingdom).
