1. Faurecia's Appetite for Morocco Is Confirmed: "Only a few weeks after officially inaugurating its second plant in Morocco (specifically in Salé), the French automotive parts manufacturer Faurecia is already advancing its pawns on a third unit to be sheltered this time at the free zone Atlantic Free Zone in Kénitra as of the end of 2018. 2. BAM Gives an Update on Credit Institutions in Morocco: "Bank Al Maghrib organized a press conference on Thursday, July 20, to present its annual report on banking supervision for the 2016 financial year. This report, which is at its 13th edition, takes stock of the structure, the activity, and the profitability of credit institutions for the year 2016. It also deals with the evolution of risks incurred by banks and the main regulatory advances of the banking sector. At the end of 2016, the banking sector accumulates a total asset of 118% of GDP. The number of bank accounts reached 24 million and the banking rate was 69% with disparity recorded between rural and urban areas."

4. BMCE BOA: Signing of the Contract to Construct the Tallest Tower in Africa: "At the Headquarters of BMCE Bank of Africa, on Thursday, July 20, the signing ceremony of the construction contract of Tour de Rabat Bouregreg took place between BMCE Bank of Africa Group on the one hand, and the Chinese China Railway Construction Corporation International -CRCCI-, and the Moroccan TGCC Group on the other. 250 meters high on 55 floors, the tower will be the highest in Africa with hotel, residential, and office components. The Chinese state group CRCC International is one of the largest construction companies in the world. Its activities, conducted in more than 120 countries, also includes Transport, Rail, Roads, Energy and Public Works, Housing Construction, Industrial Manufacturing, Trade, Logistics, Investment, and Finance."
