1. 2. SG of CCME Receives a Delegation of Franco-Moroccan Associative Actors from Normandy: "The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) hosted, at the council's headquarters, on Thursday, July 20, 2017, a delegation of elected officials and Franco-Moroccan worship and cultural actors of the city of Val-de-Reuil (Normandie), led by the mayor of the city, Mr. Marc-Antoine Jamet. The delegation is carrying a project to realize an Institute of cultures of Islam in this city, "where 30% of the population is of Arab-Muslim and African origin and culture," specifies Mr. Jamet who explains that this project should contain a cultural center and a Mosque worthy of a Muslim community composed of more than 60 nationalities and still practicing its religion and its spirituality in barracks and unhealthy spaces."
3. The Tower of Rabat Bouregreg Built in 3 Years: "BMCE Bank of Africa Group signed, in Casablanca, on July 20, the contract of the construction of the Tower of Rabat Bouregreg with the Chinese group China Railway Construction Corporation International (CRCCI) and the Moroccan TGCC. With its 250 meters high and 55 floors, the tower will be the highest in Africa. The project includes hotel and residential components, as well as offices. CRCCI and TGCC groups have created a joint venture to carry out this project over the next three years. The ambition of the president of BMCE Bank of Africa group, Othman Benjelloun, is to make the Tower "a landmark icon in the urban, economic, cultural, and tourist landscapes of Morocco."
4. Official Launching of "Irtikaa" Program in Sidi Slimane: "The regional coordination of the Social Development Agency (ADS) in Kenitra organizes, at the headquarters of the prefecture of Sidi Slimane, on Thursday, a meeting dedicated to the official launching of the "Irtikaa" program for the promotion of associations. "Realized by ADS and the Provincial Human Development Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Family, Solidarity, Equality, and Social Development, this program is part of the efforts deployed by the various partners with a view to rehabilitating the associations and ensure their effective contribution to the success of social development programs and projects," indicates a statement of the Coordination."
5. HACA Pinned SNRT, Médi1 TV, and Med Radio: "The Higher Council for Audiovisual Communication reporting to the High Authority on Audiovisual Communication reported on three decisions concerning media coverage of the Hirak, according to Yabiladi. These decisions concern Al Aoula and Tamazight channels of SNRT, Médi1 TV, and the Casablanca radio Med Radio. HACA states that SNRT has violated the legal and regulatory provisions in force [and] decides to send a warning to SNRT. The court orders the notification of this decision to SNRT, as well as its publication in the Official Gazette. HACA has taken the same measures with regard to Médi TV."
