1. Morocco Consolidates Its Positioning in the World Innovation Index: "Morocco has consolidated its positioning as a leader in North Africa, as part of the podium of the most innovative countries in the African continent, after South Africa and Mauritius, according to the 2017 edition of the World Innovation Index released on Thursday. "According to this index developed by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Cornell University, and INSEAD (The Business School for the World), Morocco is among the countries that has held a sustained performance during the past 7 years," indicates a statement from the Moroccan Industrial and Commercial Property Office (OMPIC)."


2. Implementing a Crisis Unit by the Embassy and Consulate of Morocco Following the Fire at Grenfell Tower in London: "Following the Very High Instructions of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, the General Embassy and Consulate of Morocco in London have set up a crisis and follow-up unit to "monitor the situation and provide aid and support to the Moroccan victims" of the fire that ravaged the Grenfell Tower. The Crisis Unit decided to undertake "urgent measures" for ensuring coordination and communication with the various local authorities, maintaining contact with the various components of the Moroccan community, and trying to identify "the other wounded and the missing ones of Moroccan origin", indicates a joint statement by the Embassy and Consulate."

Morocco Trains African Customs Officers: "The Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII) has proceeded, in Rabat on Wednesday, the diplomas delivery to the graduates of the 18th promotion of the international cycle of initial training of the inspection frames of customs. This training benefited 42 school inspectors from the customs administrations of 12 African countries, in addition to the Republic of Haiti. For Zouhir Chorfi, the General Director of the ADII, the training provided by ADII to African pupil inspectors reflects the Kingdom's commitment to weaving and strengthening ties with African countries. "Morocco's return to the African Union will further contribute to strengthening cooperation in this field and will open up new development prospects," he added."


4. The Government Council Examines the Health Sector Strategy 2017-2021: ""According to the Moroccan Government, the visit of the French President Emmanuel Macron to the Kingdom reflects the esteem in Morocco and His Majesty the King Mohammed VI," affirmed the government spokesman, Mustapha El Khalfi, during the weekly press briefing held at the end of the Governing Council. According to the government official, the visit is a sign of consideration for the role played by Morocco and the Sovereign on the international and regional scale. In addition to this topical issue, the Government Council examined the review of the strategy for the promotion of the health sector for the period 2017-2021. The Minister of Guardianship, El Hossein El Ouardi, has thus declined before the members of the government the content of this strategy whose main objective is to remedy the serious shortcomings of the sector."


5. Medi1 Radio Authorized to Transmit in Frequency Modulation in Burkina Faso: "Medi1 Radio can from now on broadcast from Burkina Faso. 6. The construction site of the PSA plant in Kenitra on good tracks: "The construction site of the PSA group plant in Kenitra is progressing according to the agreed timetable.
