6. The NCHR and UNICEF sign a joint action plan focusing on the participation of victims of violations: "Initialed at a ceremony in Rabat, by the President of the NCHR, Mr. Driss El Yazami, and the Unicef representative in Morocco, Regina De Dominicis, this action plan lays the foundations for a strategic intervention, the main objective is to reinforce the national capacities for independent monitoring and reporting on the situation of children's rights in Morocco in accordance with international standards. According to a communiqué issued by the NCHR, released public in this regard, the activities deployed through this action plan will contribute, particularly, to the establishment, for the first time in Morocco, of a recourse procedure for child victims violations of their rights, in accordance with the Committee's General Comment No. 2 on the child rights. In this regard, Ms. De Dominicis assured, in a statement to the MAA, that this mechanism appeal will be one of the priorities within the framework of this two-year program with the NCHR, and which is part of a "Very successful" partnership.
