1. More Than 631,000 Moroccans Residing Abroad Have Transited via Tanger Med on July 31: "A total of 710,803 passengers, including 631,003 Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRE), and 194,916 vehicles have transited via Tanger Med port in both directions from June 5, 2017, to July 31, 2017, a respective increase of 6% and 7% compared with the same period a year earlier, according to Tanger Med Port Authority (TMPA). Thereby, 551,747 passengers and 144,275 vehicles returned to Morocco via Tanger Med port since the start of Operation Marhaba 2017 on June 5, 2017, until July 31, 2017, respectively in increase of 4% and 2% compared with the same period of 2016, while the number of coaches was 1,049, in decrease of 18% year on year, specifies TMPA."
2. Bank Al Yousr, a Subsidiary of Banque Centrale Populaire and Guidance Financial, Starts Its Activity: "The saga of participatory banks continues. Banque Centrale Populaire Group announced the launch of its participatory subsidiary Bank Al Yousr starting from today. A launch announced following its approval and publication on July 20 of the notices of compliance relating to the model of account agreement and the contract Mourabaha Immobilière issued by the Shariah Committee on Participatory Finance."
3. Launch of a New Electronic Solution: "The Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes launched, on August 1, 2017, a secure electronic signature solution for subscribed sales under customs economic regimes. This solution, implemented at the level of the on-line customs clearance system "BADR", is part of the gradual introduction of the dematerialization of customs clearance procedures. The solution implemented also makes it possible to deposit the ancillary documents in the said system."
4. Royal Air Maroc Schedules 150 Flights for More Than 20,000 Pilgrims: "The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced the launch, on Tuesday, August 8, of 150 flights for the benefit of more than 20,000 pilgrims for Haj season 1438-2017. These flights will depart from eight airports of the Kingdom, namely Casablanca, Rabat-Salé, Fez, Tangier, Oujda, Nador, Agadir, and Marrakech, indicates RAM in a statement. To this end, 77 flights will be scheduled during the outward phase, both to Jeddah and Medina, specifies the company which, in addition to its own airplanes, will increase its transport capacity by chartering two Airbus A.330 and A.340 airplanes with a capacity of 266 and 300 seats respectively."
5. INDH: Projects Worth Nearly 15 Million Dirhams Validated in Guercif: "The provincial committee for the human development of the province of Guercif has recently approved projects proposed as part of the program of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) for 2017, with a total value of 14.984 million Dirhams (MDH). These projects, to which INDH contributes up to 11,830 MDH, were approved at a meeting chaired by the governor of Hassan Belmahi province."
