Uber Eats fuels the fun with Bradley Cooper and NFL stars in new “Football is for Food” campaign

title..

Uber Eats is back on screens and in stadiums with a fresh wave of its hit campaign, “Football is for Food,” created by Special US. Blending humor, celebrity power, and America’s two biggest passions—football and food—the campaign features Bradley Cooper alongside NFL legends and current players in a multi-channel storytelling effort that keeps fans laughing while reminding them that game-day meals are just a tap away.

As the official delivery partner of the NFL, Uber Eats has turned the quirky theory that “football was invented just to sell food” into an ongoing comedic saga. The latest chapter aired during the Eagles vs. Cowboys Sunday Night Football game, with Cooper grilling Hall of Famer Troy Aikman about his team’s supposed involvement in the “food conspiracy.” With teammates CeeDee Lamb, T.J. Bass, and Brandin Cooks—whose names conveniently sound like a full-course meal—the joke writes itself.

In another spot that premiered during the Buccaneers game, Cooper hilariously pleads with Baker Mayfield to stop “baking” during his on-field celebrations, insisting that it only fuels the outlandish rumor that football’s sole purpose is to promote food sales.

Developed by Special US, the campaign builds on the viral success of last season’s installments while doubling down on the brand’s signature blend of wit and relatability. “It’s a conspiracy theory that just keeps on giving,” said David Horton, Chief Creative Officer and partner at Special US. “This year, we were thrilled to level fresh accusations at Baker Mayfield for ‘baking’ every Sunday and at the Cowboys for their undeniably food-centric roster.”

For Georgie Jeffreys, Head of Marketing for Uber Eats North America, the campaign represents the perfect collision of culture and commerce. “The NFL season is in full swing, and we’re doubling down,” she explained. “We’re tapping familiar faces like Baker Mayfield and Troy Aikman to push the storyline further, keeping it playful while reminding fans that Uber Eats is the easiest way to get your game-day food delivered straight to your couch.”

This new series of ads extends across broadcast, digital, and social platforms, ensuring fans encounter the campaign wherever they watch, scroll, or order. With its seamless blend of sports humor and brand purpose, “Football is for Food” continues to position Uber Eats not just as a delivery app, but as an essential part of the football experience.
