Sky has unveiled a new chapter in its acclaimed “That Sky Feeling” campaign with an imaginative advertisement for the latest Sky Glass TV. Directed by Vedran Rupic and produced by Sky’s in-house agency, Sky Creative, the spot highlights the TV’s standout features, blending lighthearted storytelling with cutting-edge visuals.
At the heart of the campaign is a playful scene featuring Spiderman actor Andrew Garfield, who watches a frog on the crystal-clear 4K HDR screen — until the amphibian leaps off the TV and transforms his living room into a vibrant jungle. Surrounded by wind, rain, and a lush canopy of leaves, Garfield experiences the immersive power of Sky Glass firsthand.
“Everything looks so real, you can almost touch it,” Garfield commented during filming.
Aaron Willmer, Creative Director at Sky Creative, shared some behind-the-scenes insights: “We threw everything at Andrew in this one – wind, leaves, rain, you name it. We brought the jungle to his home with some lovely in-camera fun and a fair bit of CGI. Leaves in the face were sanctioned, but we weren’t allowed to stick him next to an actual jaguar!”
Sky Glass isn’t just about stunning visuals — it also features a built-in Dolby Atmos soundbar, delivering richer, deeper audio for a fully immersive experience.
Rose Holden, Marketing Director at Sky, emphasized the emotional impact of the campaign: “Our brand-new Sky Glass TV offers customers the ultimate entertainment experience. With an even brighter screen and deeper, richer sound, it’s designed to totally immerse you in what you’re watching – and that’s truly brought to life in this entertaining spot.”
She added that the “That Sky Feeling” platform has already more than doubled Sky TV’s return on media investment, with plans to build on this success throughout the year.
The campaign marks a shift for Sky, combining humor and charm to connect with viewers and underscore the transformative power of Sky Glass. As the brand continues to innovate, this new ad signals an exciting future for Sky’s storytelling and customer engagement.
